Buck Wild Rescue focuses on wildlife emergencies in the Texas Hill Country. Availability depends on species, space, transport, and current caseload.
- Photograph the animal from a safe distance
- Save the exact location
- Note visible injuries and how long it has been there
- Keep children and pets away
Referral coordination
Even when a rescue is outside the primary response area, the right first step is to contact a licensed rehabilitator or wildlife authority near the animal.

For traffic hazards, fire, flooding, power lines, large predators, bats, venomous animals, or aggressive wildlife, contact the appropriate emergency or wildlife authority.
